ABOUT BRASS

Brass is a soft metal and has passed through many processes and hands before it makes its way to your wall. This includes cutting, shipping, more cutting, glueing, etching, sanding... and so much more. During this time, some surfaces will develop a very fine scratch or two, perhaps a shallow indent on the surface or a slightly upturned corner, some won't. Each piece is photographed from several directions to try and accurately display its unique characteristics in different lighting.

Raw brass pieces are photographed fresh off the easel, but are designed to slowly and naturally patina. It's possible that your piece will have already started to develop a mild patina between photography and shipping. Deliberately patinated pieces are lacquered and will not continue to patina.

I'm always happy to provide up to date details videos of individual pieces on request - please email info@keeganthelabel.com.au and I'll respond as soon as possible.
